Texas Longhorns enjoyed a successful weekend in Alabama — completing a pair of sweeps in their away clashes with Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Longhorns kicked off their double-header with a 3-0 triumph over Auburn (25-11, 25-21, 25-15) at the Neville Arena on Friday, in front of a record crowd of 3,940.
Madi played a starring role in proceedings, as she recorded over 20 kills for the second consecutive match, scoring a personal career high for a 3-set match with 23.
Then, it was a similar story on Sunday, when Texas won all three sets against Alabama by scorelines of 25-16, 25-23 and 25-15.
That match was also played out in front of a record attendance, with 3,800 fans packing into the Foster Auditorium. And Madi made her mark once again — putting in a game-leading offensive performance by registering 14 kills and 10 digs, as well as hitting .314.
After a challenging run in late October and early November, Texas are now unbeaten in three outings, heading into Friday’s visit to Oklahoma.
The Longhorns then wrap up the regular season with home matches against Tennessee and Ole Miss.
