Madi is back in action this weekend, as she prepares to feature in a brand new competition.
The LOVB Classic is a mid-season volleyball tournament, taking place from February 14-16 at the Municipal Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.
This three-day event features all six LOVB Pro teams, who will be competing for the season's first piece of silverware.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming set of matches…
Tournament structure
The LOVB Classic adopts a knockout format, beginning with quarter-finals on Friday, February 14.
Teams are seeded based on their performance in the initial weeks of the LOVB Pro season.
The quarter-final winners will advance to face the top two seeds in the semi-finals on Saturday, February 15.
Every team then returns to action on Sunday, in a triple-header to determine the overall standings.
That trio of matches includes the competition’s final, of course, which will crown the LOVB Classic champion.
What does that mean for Austin?
Madi’s side LOVB Austin will feature in the tournament’s second match, when they take on Salt Lake on Friday.
That quarter-final clash gets under way at 7pm CST, with the winner due to face top-seeds Atlanta on Saturday (also 7pm CST).
Austin will then feature in one of three games on Sunday, depending on how they have performed in the earlier rounds. That could be a 5th vs 6th match, a playoff for third place or the final.
The only other confirmed match-up that we have at this stage is the first quarter-final on Friday, with Madison vs Houston taking place at 4.30pm CST. The winner of that game will play second-seeds Omaha the following day (4.30pm CST).

Fans wishing to watch Madi at the Municipal Arena can purchase single-day tickets — granting access to all matches on a specific day — or session passes, which provide entry to every game of the tournament at a discounted rate.

A must-see event
Held in conjunction with the Triple Crown NIT, the LOVB Classic is set to be a unique celebration of volleyball, with junior and professional athletes competing side-by-side.
It also represents a significant milestone in the 2025 volleyball season, with all six LOVB Pro teams aiming to lay down a marker by winning the competition.
Fans can expect an exciting display of high-level volleyball action this weekend, then, as Madi looks to make an impact in Kansas City.
