LOVB Austin put on a show during their trip to Nebraska, sweeping LOVB Omaha 25-23, 25-20, 25-15 on Saturday night.
Austin may have been forgiven for some pre-game nerves, given Omaha were unbeaten through the first three games of their season – but they quickly put any doubts aside.
Madi led her side with 10 kills and a .0450 hitting percentage, as well as two blocks – earning her the player of the match award.
“I feel like the setters did a great job of distributing our offense, I feel like we weren’t too reliant on any one position,” she said.
“That gave them a new look every time, and everyone producing across the board.”
Austin's record is now evened up at 2-2, while on an individual basis Madi herself sits 6th in the league for points scored, with 49.
Madi and team will host Houston on Thursday 6th February, as they look to rise up the standings.
