If they advance past the Bluejays, Madi’s squad will face either the host team, Penn State, or Marquette in the Elite Eight.
These games are taking place at Penn State’s Rec Hall — a state-of-the-art 6,502 capacity venue that hosts volleyball, gymnastics and wrestling.
What time does the action get under way?
Today’s match gets under way at 12pm CST.
Opposition form guide
Creighton have made a strong start to their NCAA volleyball championship, having swept each of the opponents in the first and second rounds.
The Bluejays beat South Dakota in their opening match (25-10, 25-17, 25-14) before eliminating Ole Miss (28-26, 27-25, 25-7) last Friday.
Those results followed on from Creighton picking up their tenth Big East championship in 11 years, and extended their winning streak to 24 matches.
Anything else to know?
Texas Longhorns finished their home campaign in style last time out, as they swept USC (26-24, 25-20, 25-22) at the Gregory Gymnasium.
That display put the Longhorns through to their 19th consecutive NCAA regional semifinal, which is the longest active streak in the country.
Madi posted 23 kills with a .347 hitting percentage in the clash with USC, while recording her eighth double-double of the season with 12 digs.
Texas have now won eight games in a row, heading into today’s encounter.
