Madi hit a memorable personal milestone on Saturday, when she broke the 200 barrier for points accrued in 2025.
The 23-year-old put 11 points on the board in her second match of Gameweek 12 against Madison, to reach an impressive total of 205 for the campaign.
And Madi’s ascent to that tally was helped by a commendable display earlier in the weekend, when she posted a team-leading 23 points against Omaha on Friday evening.
So how does the Katy-born star’s record compare with her team-mates and other players around the league?
Well, no Austin player can currently match Madi’s 205 points, with only three players from across the division bettering her output.
Houston’s Jordan Thompson leads the way (237), followed by Roni Jones-Perry of Salt Lake (215). Madi and Madison’s Annie Drews Schumacher are then tied in third place.
Inevitably it’s a similar story when it comes to kills, with Madi’s 183 placing her ahead of any other Austin players and third in the overall standings.
The Opposite Hitter has contributed in other ways, too, registering 19 blocks and 99 digs, as well as chipping in with three assists.
Looking specifically at Madi’s points total, it is noteworthy how much of an impact she has made against one particular opponent.
Four of her top five returns have come against Houston, registering 101 points in clashes with Massimo Barbolini’s team.
That includes a match at the Fort Bend County Epicenter in early October, when Austin’s No.16 recorded her season-best total of 27 points.
There’s surely more to come, too. A final round game against Salt Lake offers another chance to boost those numbers, before the LOVB Finals get underway in Louisville later this month.
